Terms of Service

You must:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Use your real identity
• Provide accurate information
• Use the app personally

You may not:

• Create fake profiles
• Impersonate another person
• Operate bots or automated accounts
• Create accounts for others without permission

Users found to be under 18 will be permanently removed from the platform. We reserve the right to remove accounts that violate these rules.

MATCHA is a platform that helps people meet and communicate.

We do not guarantee:

• Matches
• Replies
• Relationships
• Compatibility
• Real-world outcomes

While we aim to maintain a respectful and safe environment, MATCHA cannot guarantee the identity, intentions, or behaviour of users. Dating involves personal decisions and interactions between individuals.

You agree not to:

• Harass, threaten, or intimidate others
• Send unwanted sexual content
• Spam users
• Scam or manipulate people
• Share illegal content
• Post hateful, abusive, or discriminatory material
• Impersonate another person
• Use MATCHA for unlawful purposes
• Attempt to bypass moderation, bans, restrictions, or safety systems

Commercial sexual services, escort activity, human trafficking, or exploitative behaviour are strictly prohibited on MATCHA.

MATCHA does not facilitate financial arrangements or transactional relationships between users.

Harassment, fetishization, coercion, intimidation, or abusive behaviour toward other users will not be tolerated.

You may only upload photos that:

• Belong to you
• You have permission to use
• Accurately represent you

You may not upload:

• Nudity
• Explicit sexual content
• Violent content
• Photos of minors
• Copyrighted images without permission
• Misleading or fake images

Uploaded photos may be reviewed automatically and manually for safety and moderation purposes. MATCHA may use automated systems and AI-assisted moderation tools to detect harmful behaviour, scams, spam, fake accounts, or policy violations.

Users may communicate through in-app chat.

MATCHA also offers optional chat translation features. Translation only occurs when requested by a user.

Users remain responsible for the content they send.

MATCHA currently offers the following on the free tier:

• Women currently have an expanded like allowance
• Men currently have a limited number of daily likes
• Both users can currently see who has liked their profile

These limits and features reflect MATCHA's current launch configuration and may change over time. Access to any feature during the launch period does not guarantee its future availability at the same level or at no cost.

MATCHA reserves the right to:

• Adjust like limits and daily allowances
• Introduce premium tiers or paid subscriptions
• Move features between free and paid access
• Test and modify matching, discovery, and interaction systems
• Adjust feature availability based on user behaviour, platform health, or business needs

Where significant changes to paid features or access are introduced, users will be notified in advance through the app.

Users may block or report other users. Blocked users cannot contact or view each other.

Reported profiles and content are reviewed manually by the MATCHA moderation team. Verification badges, profile reviews, or moderation actions do not guarantee the authenticity, identity, intentions, or safety of any user.

We reserve the right to remove content, suspend accounts, or permanently ban users if behaviour violates these Terms or creates safety concerns for the community.

We may suspend or remove accounts for reasons including:

• Fake profiles
• Harassment
• Scams
• Abusive behaviour
• Repeated reports
• Violations of these Terms

In serious cases, removal may occur without warning.

MATCHA reserves the right to refuse access to the service at its discretion where necessary to protect platform safety, integrity, or community standards.

Users may permanently delete their account inside the app.

Deleting an account removes or schedules removal of:

• Profile data
• Photos
• Messages
• Matches
• Swipes
• Block relationships
• Reports submitted or received
• Related account activity

within a reasonable timeframe, except where retention is legally required. Certain information may be retained where required by law, fraud prevention, active safety investigations, abuse prevention, or other legitimate business purposes.

You keep ownership of the content you upload to MATCHA.

By using MATCHA, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, display, process, and operate your content as necessary to provide the service. You remain responsible for the content you post.

Please use caution when interacting with other users.

Users should exercise personal judgment and caution when interacting online or meeting in person. MATCHA does not conduct criminal background checks on users.

We are not responsible for:

• Offline interactions
• Meetings between users
• User behaviour outside the app

Always meet carefully and in public places when possible.

MATCHA is provided on an “as is” basis.

MATCHA does not guarantee uninterrupted availability, security, or error-free operation of the service. To the maximum extent permitted by law, MATCHA is not liable for:

• User behaviour
• User-generated content
• Indirect damages
• Loss of relationships, opportunities, or business
• Technical interruptions or downtime

We may modify, add, or remove features, pricing, limits, subscriptions, and functionality as the app evolves. This includes introducing paid plans, adjusting what is available on the free tier, or changing how the service operates.

We may also update these Terms from time to time. If significant changes are made, users will be notified inside the app. Continued use of MATCHA after updates means you accept the revised Terms.

The MATCHA app, branding, design, software, features, and related content are owned by MATCHA and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Users may not:

• Copy or reproduce parts of the service
• Reverse engineer the app
• Scrape or collect user data
• Use MATCHA branding without permission
• Resell or commercially exploit the platform

These Terms will be interpreted and enforced in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. Any disputes related to MATCHA will be handled through appropriate legal processes where applicable.
